Japanese automaker Nissan is a brand that has launched plenty of successful vehicle models in the market. Nissan has different types of vehicles that are successful in different parts of the world. In the crossover SUV segment, Nissan has two great models namely Nissan Murano and Nissan Rogue. Murano was the first to be introduced between the two. It was introduced in the year 2002. Rogue was introduced in the year 2007 as a 2008 model. Both vehicles differ a lot when it comes to features and specifications. Moreover, these vehicles are small compared to Nissan’s SUV models like Pathfinder.

Nissan Murano is presently in the second generation of its production. The first generation vehicles lasted till 2007. The initial models of Murano are powered by a 3.5 liter engine producing an output of 245 horsepower. The vehicle was available in only one body type but with different trim levels. Each trim level has different features and the prices of these vehicles changed considerably. Nissan Rogue was introduced as a 2008 model and it is still in the first generation. The vehicle has a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine that produces an output of 170 horsepower. Both these vehicles represent Nissan’s only crossover SUV models.
